Pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic features of antiretroviral products

Introduction. Since the appearance of immune deficiency virus (HIV) and acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) at beginning 1980s, humanity started to understand elementary processes, underlying biology HIV that enabled develop safe efficient treatment methods. Currently therapy includes combined regimen allows drug interaction. Objective. To study features pharmacokinetics pharmacodynamics, also interaction specific product groups, affecting human virus. Materials Analytical review is based on analysis literary sources scientific database (PubMed, Cochrane Library, Сyberleninka) contains information about peculiarities pharmacokinetic pharmacodynamic antiretroviral products’ (ARVP) when used by HIV-infected patients for period 1995–2022. Results discussion. The current summarize research results, devoted issue ARVP use patients, identify variants irrational combination, caused increased risk toxicity with their simultaneous application. Conclusion. Studying characteristics each medical product, in infection therapy, choose optimal pharmacotherapy regimens, taking into account individual patient characteristics, predict prevent adverse reactions future.
